Higher Plane. BASF seat contest.

This is my submission to BASF 'Sit down.Move' contest. My project was picked as a finalist that was nice. Final announcement was made at Designer's night in Geneva. So i sort of was there...well at least my work. Looked like a pretty cool event. Here is a link to the gallery from the event. BASF Designer's night gallery
Inspiration came from the book by Richard Bach 'Jonathan Livingstone Seagull'. Great book y the way.

BASF design contest

Did an entry for recent BASF design contest "sit down. move." This image is as much as I will allow myself to show at this time.
Greatly enjoyed working on the project but at this point all I can do is wait and hope for the best.
The process of submission was a little strange for me. I am more used to interactive contests like at Local Motors. In this case I send my final files to a specified email and that was it. Did not received any response or confirmation. Contest team didn't respond to my email ether. So I hope they got it and at least will look at it.
On the website they say that results should be announced sometime in the beginning of March so will wait til then.
